WinesCanada.com was born from a simple love of wine — not just the drink, but the land, the people, and the culture behind it. We saw a gap in how Canadian wine was represented online. It deserved better. So, we decided to build a place dedicated to celebrating Canadian terroir, talent, and taste.

Hi, I’m Kris. I’m a lifelong storyteller, curious explorer, and the founder of WinesCanada.com. I didn’t grow up on a vineyard or earn a sommelier pin, but I did spend time behind the bar — enough to earn a certificate from Fine Art Bartending and shake up a few good events.
That time taught me something important: drinks bring people together. Whether it’s a crafted cocktail or a glass of wine, they open the door to stories, connection, and shared experiences.
I started WinesCanada.com to help more people discover what Canadian wine is really about. Our country’s wine scene is vibrant, growing, and full of untold stories. This site is a place to explore our regions, meet the people behind the bottles, and experience Canadian wine in all its variety.
